Recommended dietary allowances (RDA) for Adults:
- 45 percent to 65 percent of their calories from carbohydrates, 20 percent to 35 percent from fat, and 10 to 35 percent from protein.
- Added sugars should not be more than 25 percent of total calories consumed.
- Fibers: 38 grams for men and 25 grams for women (under 50 years old)
- Protein: Protein is 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight for adults.
